Well I haven't made this one yet, but just like pan fried Krispy Kremes I just can't wait to try it.

My beloved bride came home from the resturant yesterday after a meeting with some reps who were talking about this dish:
bascially it goes like this:
Deep fried Macaroni and Cheese

Make some baked mac and cheese.
Put the mac and cheese in the frig overnight so that it gets stiff and cold. The next day, cut into squares like brownies.
Take the squares and wrap them with bacon.
Dip the squares w/bacon in egg and roll in bread crumbs.
Deep fry until it has a nice brown color.

Bill Nicholson's Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding with Butter Rum Sauce

2 doz. Krispy Kreme donuts
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk -(not evaporated)
2 (4.5 oz.) cans fruit cocktail (undrained)
2 eggs, beaten
1 (9 oz.) box of raisins
1 pinch of salt
1 or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cube donuts into a large bowl. Pour other ingredients on top of donuts and
let soak for a few minutes. Mix all ingredients together until donuts have
soaked up the liquid as much as possible.

Bake for about 1 hour until the center has jelled. Top with Butter Rum
Sauce.

Butter Rum Sauce:
1 stick of butter
1 lb. bow of confectioners' sugar
Rum to taste

Melt butter and slowly stir in confectioners' sugar. Add rum and heat until
bubbly. Pour over each serving of bread pudding.

***Note***

Do not pour any liquor into a hot pan over any hot surface directly from the
bottle. Remove pan from heat source and then pour alcohol into the pan from
a measured cup.

I made that Krispy Kreme pudding once never again. I like sweet stuff but OMG it was beyond sweet for me.

This is the LINK to the Butter Fried Krispy Kremes that I tried at the beach last summer. I had a dozen stale KKs and I fried em up and the folks at the beach house went wild over them.
