Someone has plans to build yet another bbq restaurant in Lexington, NC.

Here's a quote from the story: "Two gas cookers are in the back. A flame will go over a small pile of hickory wood and into a chamber that will cook 20 pork shoulders at a time."
My favorite places in Lexington are still log-burners, and I somehow can't help but consider "upscale barbecue" as an oxymoron.
