Went to Calbelas last week to buy a grinder. They had a 3/4 or 1 hp on sale. I was wringing my hands over whether I could get by with the 1/2 hp or go to a 1 hp (@ $399) when a clerk told me to check the 'bargain cave'. They had refurbished units marked way down. A bargain cave 1 1/2 hp with a #32 head was $406. Then I got $80 off for spending more than $100.
This thing weights 60#s. Tonight I put 11#s pork through it in 90 seconds.
I made some Italian sausage using a Cabelas mix. I used too much mix and it was a little salty, but still way good.
Going to be a grinding fool this winter. 8) 8)
