What is D-dog doing on the weekends??

I have a space out at the Mesa Marketplace swap meet! Come by and visit me on the weekends! I am in space D-164. Mesa Marketplace is located at 10550 E. Baseline Road Mesa, Arizona 85212. Stop by and say hello if you are in the area! :D :D

For some reason baseline road rings a bell.... I think when I was a kid driving from California to Texas we took baseline road through Phoenix before I-10 was built. We also used to go through Gila Bend to bypass all that. Am I remembering the right place ddog? I would go visit you and all the indians if I was there.. I'm part indian too..albino indian.. Have fun man!!

Yeah. Baseline is a survey term, and Baseline Road follows one of the two key reference lines for Arizona's survey.

--John 8)

(States that were created from the Public Domain, which includes all but the original 13 colonies, Texas, and Hawaii, were surveyed by the General Land Office and its successor agency, the Bureau of Land Management, into a rectangular grid of townships. Townships are located and numbered starting from a reference point defined by a baseline and a principal meridian. The baseline and meridian intersection point for Arizona is at the confluence of the Gila and Salt Rivers near Phoenix. The east-west baseline is commemorated by the alignment of Baseline Road.)
