SS, think about how much usable wood you have left over after each cook.

I have found that four medium size chunks is plenty for an entire 14 hour burn.

If you wrap then you really only need enough wood to get you to 170.

I noticed that too Cliff... and it just dawned on me. SS that was an alful lot of wood. .... 3-4 fist sized chunks is plenty.

2 full packers one on the top, one on the bottom.
