Wolfe Rub to the rescue!

I'm doing 2 more butts today. I got them on around 6:30 this morning, there in the 5 lb range so I think I'm gonna have to pull the water pan out and cook a little hotter at the end to get them done in time. When I started rubbing the second one I noticed I was getting low on my usual pork rub. No time to make more, so I rubbed it with a blend of the usual and Wolfe Rub Bold (I always have this around). I've never had WRB on pork, I think it will blend nicely.

Re: Wolfe Rub to the rescue!

You won't have to rush them. You will have plenty of time.

Yep dont rush. You can foil at about 160 and this will speed things up a bit but not too much.
