Jim why are you trying something new?? Your track record is proven with your own rub, injection, sauce etc???? Stop trying new stuff and do it the way you have won with before!

No not at all in fact just the opposite. You'll find it on most cans of French's onion rings. Its very simple and very good!

Ingredients

1 Pkg fozen hash browns (2 lb bag)
1 cup onion chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
10 oz sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 cup sour cream
1 stick butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 can French Fried onions

Saute onions in butter
Mix in all ingredients except hash browns and French fried onions
Pour mixture over potatoes in large casserole dish (13x9)
Top with crumbled french fired onions
Bake in 325-350 degree oven for 1 hour

I like to sprinkle a little extra cheese on top the last 10 minutes.

This is really an ugly time of the year here with the snow melting and mud.

They buy windshield washer fluid in pallet lots there.
