What is this ?

I found this growin in the base of an old rotten hickory tree. It smelled like mushroom so I smoked it. It cooled down a little but I am afraid to taste it, might be poisonous....where is that neighbor kid?

Thats a west valdorinflugalmister, yep, feed it ta the nieghbor kid first, ifin in a couple hours he don't turn yeller with big green spots, its safe ta eat!

Oh my

That neighbor kid is out there humpin a road sign pole. I think it might have done something to him. Momma saw him, looked at me kinda glassy eyed and said" Why don't you go ahead and try some, let me know how it tastes." .........
