has anyone here eaten a Sonoran (sp?) Dog...I know there the big
rage right now, but no one serves em in this part of the country.
 
We have grilled bacon wrapped dogs before, but never deep fried.

I think it would be good to grill a bacon wrapped dog, then dip in beer batter and deep fry.
 
Thanks for the link and recipes. The only rational one I see is the Sonoran Dawg and believe I would skip the mustard in that particular application even though I am a mustard fanatic. I can see some conflicts with the Avocados would prob sub out some fresh made Pico for the tomaters. Now that would be yummy. Splatter of slice pickled japs optional. I would take them on my share of course. I also like Nathans mo betta than Hebrew National. Them thangs are overly salty. The Rabbi in charge of that operation must be an evil old cigarette smoker. They is heavily salt tolerant ya know?
