Vacuum marinating

Hi All,
New to the site...reading the recipes is making my mouth wet!

One question/comment I have....often when I marinate smaller cuts I do it in a vacuum sealer bag....I place a rolled up paper towel in the bag nearest the vacuum sealer so the marinade does not get sucked in so much....if at all. this works great with jerky as well as tri tips and such. Anyone here tried this? This method seems to get the marinade in the meat real well.

I found the site searching out a turkey loaf recipe. Was hesitant of turkey loaf but WOW it is good.....just a couple mods...rolled oats instead of crackers. never seen that emoticon...had to do it

Check out the vacuum marinator sold by Food Saver. I've used mine several times, seems to work well and you're not wasting vacuum bags.

YES! I gotta have it. I have been doing jerky in bags...usually overnight. Do you marinate for just minutes?

That's their claim to fame. Last time I used a liquid steak and chop in a bottle, kept it in for twenty minutes, seemed to do a good job.
