Trick to a tight turd?

How do yall keep the bacon tight against the pepper? Tooth picks?

Any tricks are welcome... Jokes welcome too :shock:
 
no toothpicks needed. Let the bacon sit out and get close
to room temp before you assemble. It will become very tacky
and adhere to itself.

What Cappy said..I never use the toothpick..
 
Low temps....higher heat will cause the bacon to rapidly shrink and curl. Lower heat will not. I cook mine between 245º-260º, straight out of the fridge and no toothpicks.
 
Well, all is good advice... I am going to be hurting in the morning when they come out.. Some of the white part that holds the seeds was still in them.. Ay Yay Yay.. or how ever you say it...I'm uploading the video right now.. They were very tasty. I just have to master the bacon wrapping now... Thanks to all you Centralites!!! ;)
