Trick to a tight turd?

How do yall keep the bacon tight against the pepper? Tooth picks?

Any tricks are welcome... Jokes welcome too

no toothpicks needed. Let the bacon sit out and get close
to room temp before you assemble. It will become very tacky
and adhere to itself.

Low temps....higher heat will cause the bacon to rapidly shrink and curl. Lower heat will not. I cook mine between 245-260, straight out of the fridge and no toothpicks.
