Here is last night's cook. My wife made a whiskey sauce that I love.

Crap - I meant to put that in the vid :?

It is a variation on a recipe found in the last issue of chili pepper magazine (page 32)

Here's ours - does need a little salt!

4 T whiskey
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded cheese - we use sharp cheddar
1/4 stick butter
freshly ground pepper.

Light the whiskey and let it burn. add cream and cheese and bring to simmer - until reduced by half. then add salt and pepper.

Absolutely! We buy all our beef and pork from our neighbors. We live in a small rural farm town. The only issue is consistancy. Sometimes the meat is fabulous - sometimes not.
