Spring Turkey

My brother has this 22 pounder in the freezer and decided we should smoke it. It was one left over from November. A store brand that was self basting. Cooked it over lump and cherry. Looks good, hope it tastes alright. Went much faster than last weekends 20lbs of butts and 7 racks of loin backs (they went too fast no pics were taken. Off the smoke, rested, pulled and into the 100 mouths that showed up.)

Curtis, in the north the animals never make it to the zoo. All the cages are empty.

Nice looking bird. What temp did you smoke it at? Did you foil it near the end?
