I tried it once so far and it worked out well. It held the temps at the 250-240 for pretty much the whole cook. The only problem i had was when i packed the chamber with recommended amount of coals, it was tough to fit the water container flush with the metal. I had to play with it for a while just so i could put the food grate on. Other than that, it worked as advertised. I'll use my kettle more now since i have it.

I give it a thumbs up.
 
Well, it looks like you have the 3-1-1 method down...it should be used as more of a guideline vs. a mandatory time...the more "fall off the bone" the loner the foil time! ;)
