Smoked Turkey Breast

The local grocer had a one-day sale on bone-in turkey breasts at .99/lb. so I stocked up. Put two of them on the smoker this morning using the MM and some RO lump + 3 chunks of cherry. Got temp to sit between 350 and 365 with little effort for the 2.5 hour cook. This turned out really good....

Excellent job! Smoked turkey breast at the deli counter here is $7.99 per pound and is loaded with sodium! Yours at $.99 is and excellent value!

Re: Smoked Turkey Breast

looks great. We smoked our first turkey last year and will never have it any other way. Why is your grate so shiny ????

This was my 2nd cook on the WSM. Had 3 racks of ribs laid flat on the top rack for the first cook, but managed to clean it up with one of those green scrubber pads. I'm sure that shine won't last too long...

Hey Andy, nice job on the breasts. Like your video presentation, as well. Turkeys looked great.
