Smoked pork loin

Picked up a 4 pounder at a great price.
Had a great day weather wise to smoke

Cooked to 155 internal temp and added some fresh green beans

WOW! That looks good. Is that the center cut loin? It looks a LOT bigger than those end cut, 3 to 4 inch diameter ones that I can find 'round here.

I was thinking it looks like it was butterflied. The loins we get seem to have more of a round cross section.

Thanks guys!

I know a lot of stores only offer the tenderloin, the center cut loin they cut into boneless chops.

This was one of the smaller ones they had they had some 7-8 pounders

Kroger runs sales on half loins fairly often. I start buying when they hit 1.99 but no telling when thats going to come around again. The tenderloins are nearly too little to mess with. Last one was about an inch in diameter looked like.
