smoked peeled potatoes for hash browns

Has anyone tried this?
I smoke peeled whole russets and smoke them an hour and then cool them down for the shredder the next day.
 
Sounds like too much work for lazy fat boys who sweat a lot. I aint never peeled no tate..that is wimmens work. Wash em up with Dawn and bristle brush. Dry em off and give them a nice rub down of bacon grease or Olive Oyl...spray em with PAM etc. Just get some grease on it. 30 mins each side or more if your into smoking. Do what you want after that..lol. I likes to eat peelings.
