Ya know Tony those look incredible! And I've gotta say we don't see enough use of white bread used when cooking BBQ on the forum here! I'm guilty too..... I grew up in NC and when you were served BBQ it was served with white bread!! Nice work and a great traditional BBQ meal!!

Larry's right, especially in eastern NC, white bread is traditional,
unless you're a rempe. some make sandwiches with it, some
use it to sop up the juice left by the q, sauce, and slaw.

Moving towards the middle of the state, you find what's called
Barbecue Bread, which is kind of a dinner roll thing...the best is made by
Bunny Bread.

Hey ya'll,

I grew up in da' hood and white bread was all me and my and 7 siblings ever new about! Then I went off and got all edu-macated and gradu-afied from skoo! Now I eat all kinds bread, but every now and then, I have to go back to the old landmark and get me some white wonder bread! Sorry brethren, its habit of life for me!

No No Tony don't be sorry! White bread was a staple for us too! I remember growing up eating a many bone in poke chop sammiches and whole bone in fish sammiches as well on white bread! Just reminiscing about my childhood!
