ok guys and gals.. got a question

A friend of mine wants to buy her husband a smoker for his birthday.

from what she says he has a ECB but would like to upgrade to something different.. .possibly a small offset. He cooks for the family & such... nothing too big. He doesn't want a Lowes special. She is looking to spend in the $500 range. Give me some ideas.

Yeah.. I know to recommend the WSM and his new bigger brother.. .but what else do you guys recommend for that price range.

thanks
WSM is the way to go . Jack W. told me once it aint the cooker its the cook . I would love to buy a big rig , but once you use a WSM you are hooked. Biggest thiung I am trying to save for is a pull behind closed in trailer. But till Niki is out of the hospital and done with the chemo for cancer , we are temporarily shut down from doing comps due to cash flow and health reasons.

I'm with Uncle Bubba on this one. If wanting an offset and 1500 to spend Klose is the way to go.
