My first St. Louis Spares

Came out all right, my trimming needs practice as you all know. Made em real sweet for the wife cuz thats how she likes them. They wasnt fall off the bone but pulled clean with ease. Not enough heat for me but she likes them.

Re: My first St. Louis Spares

Looks great!
You want them with that texture. "Falling off the bone" is overdone. Mushy ribs are for the public....not a BBQ'er

Re: My first St. Louis Spares

Those are some darn fine looking ribs from here! I agree with ScottyDaQ. You don't want falling off the bone, you want to be able to take a bite and just your bite pulls away from the bone. THAT'S a good bone! You're off to a great start! Enjoy your road ahead!

Re: My first St. Louis Spares

Ribs look great. Sounds a lot like me and my wife...she likes em sweet and saucy and I prefer mine dry and more spicy...but, then again, I have never met a rib that I didn't like

Re: My first St. Louis Spares

I think "falling off the bone" should be renamed "pulled ribs".
