Memorial Day Weekend

Well I rolled out the old WSM for Smoke Day and here’s how it went. As the weather in my neck of the woods wasn’t great and my patio cover in the back yard isn’t enclosed, I decided I would smoke out in the front of the house just to be safe. Everything turned out just great and the kids and our friends really enjoyed the fruits of my labor. In addition to the 3 racks of spares and the brisket flat, I also smoked a nice big kielbasa and the trimmings from the spares as an appetizer. I also grilled up some ABT’s on the gasser, first time making them and oh boy were they good. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Go ahead and send a little of that humidity my way, and I'll send you some nice cool nights. The kids were bummed it was too cold for swimming. As far as being cold at night, after dinner we put on some sweatshirts had a nice little fire outside and it was just perfect. I live in Thousand Oaks, CA, where does your friend live?
