I don't have a WSM but I found this site a few weeks ago on using the WSM. For those who have never used it this site teaches you some basics. The guy is a little obnoxious but his method looks like it will work.

I've been to Wiviot's site and he is, and he's not entirely correct on some of his process either. The TVWB is the "WSM Bible" if you're wanting to learn that cooker. IMHO, of course.

Wiv's site requires a strict learning process to understand the smoker and the process. After you've learned from that you can branch out.

I learned mainly from TVWB, and perfected with info from here.

They are both good sites to learn from. Never been one for the "My way, or the Highway" approach though.

I love this forum and don't think there is a better forum out there.

But for info purely on the WSM, it is hard to beat TVWB. The site, not the forum. This forum beats the hell out of that forum.

I've had my WSM since Christmas and I have to admit. The wiv site and TVWB are sources of good info on getting started...but seem to come across like the only way. Reading on this site tends to give more realistic info...and fast, not to mention fun.
