Joining the Chuckie Band Wagon

Did 2 little chuckies on Sunday, one with Finney #1 & the other with Wolfe Rub Bold. When they were done, I triple wrapped in foil and put them in the fridge until tonight. Re-heated in the oven and here's the results. My wife & myself enjoyed the Wolfe Rub Bold while my son enjoye Finney #1. I thought there was lots more flavors going on in the Wolfe. Both were excellent and will be used again. In the pictures where they are unwrapped, that haze is actually steam.

It all looks good Nick. You've been a cooking fool lately. I'll be interested in getting some more in depth comments from you. You can either post, PM, or email them. Doesn't matter to me. However you want to do it.

That picture #4 (with the steam) sure made me want to pop one of those chunks into my mouth.

Looks real good Nick. It is hard to believe that a little chuck can take all day long to get to 200.

For those wanting to know: Nick told me that #1 was just too spicy (hot) for his tastes. No biggie.

It occurred to me butts and chucks are like white wine and red wine.

Once ya get into red wine (chucks) white wine just isn't the same.
