Well. I'm still liking the Chubby. I replaced the water with some sand today and I'm still able to hold 250 with no problem. I did have to close off on the top vent where as with water I didn't.

Tro'd some chicken on there and we had fajitas.

Tomorrow it's brisket time and my final 'get to know you' practice run. It's just too easy. Not as easy as my Stumps, but still pretty darn easy to make it do what I want it to do.

Hmm, we ain't much fer competion cookin round here, were more bout eatin food, so on that there note, them be some fine lookin ribs! Fancy is fer women, good food is fer eatin!

BW, Dat be a take a bite to see if it is good then vacumn it for later model. So far I got 2.5 slabs of ribs, 6lbs of pork, and 7/8ths brisket all ready for the camp ground for New Years Eve. I'll cook more when I get there as it is always a 'pot luck' type feed and none will go to waste while we are getting wasted.

Chubby is ready for 2009. Stumps can stay home by its big ole heavy ass self. I'll keep firing it up for cater cooks when the need arrises.
