Re: I got a prime rib roast...

Hey Lyndon, this link worked for me.
I read somewhere that this method was pioneered and made internet famous by various members of this forum....

Re: I got a prime rib roast...

I cooked mine in the WSM..low and slow till the roast was at 118, then pulled the water pan and finished it at around 400 to set the crust. Pulled the roast at 120 and had perfect med rare.

Re: I got a prime rib roast...

You can do it Sapo. Just make sure you have a good remote probe and don't worry about the time. Both of the suggestions are spot on.

Re: I got a prime rib roast...

JP hit it right! Also, easy on seasonings, that bad boy has plenty of flavor from God, doesn't need anymore than salt, pepper, onion powder and a little garlic powder. Keep us posted.

Re: I got a prime rib roast...

Anxious to see the pictures. I sure wish we could get reasonably priced shrimp in Ohio, Lake Erie just won't produce

Re: I got a prime rib roast...

Have my own beer, but I'm enjoying the cook here and FB. I really wish I could get that $6.99 shrimp. I would tell you to have a great New Year's, but it is obvious you already are!
