Glad to see ya back posting again GH. Chicken is one of my favorites.

One bird in that big o barrel ? Winter is coming you know
I haven't cooked in a bit. I had to tip the cooker over until the threat of the tropical storms had passed. I relined the bottom with bricks and all is well. I have a lot of wood still from the Oak tree we chopped down so the fact it is not an effeciant cooker is of no concern, I used about 6 logs 4" diameter by about 2' long. Did a lil batch of ABT's first, while it was warming up. :)

I knew there was something about Florida that was special.

There is ALWAYS a yellow box around it on the Weather Channel.

Yardbird looks great GH...what kind of beer were you drinking with it.
Glad you axed! I made a batch of homebrew. The usual pale ale, I added a can of Quaker oats, a jar of honey and a bottle of Molasses. Man was that SMOOOOOOOOOOTH! :P :D

Nothing fancy. Just a lot of Garlic, salt, red pepper, raw sugar and a bit of cummin. The rest of the family likes it mild. So I adjusted it to be sweeter than my usual.
