My hubby Wildfire Eric is at it again! He has that smoker out and is carrying a bag of charcoal....and he has a huge grin on his face. All the animals in the neighborhood are becoming very nervous...even the poor little squirrels have fled up the trees!

Come on Amy, you know the rules. NO PICS, NO COOKS!

Amy,

Visited your blog, damn girl, I thought I had some pans, might I suggest some couch time with a licensed professional.

Close Bill (Ann Amy both start with an A). I'll post the picture of my plate tonight. I did two racks of ribs and one package of Johnsonville brats. I think one of them squirrels ate a few of them 'cause something is missing in the picture.

No squirrel que yesterday, but since I owe my boss some pulled pork after the Rams disaster, I feel like feeding him pulled squirrel. Who would have guessed they'd improve on their 3TD/3INT performance with a 0TD/5INT outing. I guess I needed a 19 point spread to win that beer.

Um. Amy needing psycho help? No comment that it's nothing that winning the lotto couldn't fix (or make worse?). Re: her blog post - I have the same problem that I need to figure out where some of my things are. I needed more temp probes if I was to cook my pork butts. Will save them for another weekend.

It's official now that I posted the food porn

OK Bill, here they are. Note that I was running late and my cutlery skills weren't on the front of my brain. I was just happy Amy uncovered a temp probe so I could do this around noon on Sunday.

The taste was good. I used 5 medium cherry wood chunks and 2/3rds of my WSM's charcoal capacity to do the brats and ribs. It pretty much maintained 225-250 for most of the cooking and around 210 for the last hour (3-2-1 ribs). Lots of smoke (but not overpowering) goes well with the hot bbq sauce. We'll see what my co-workers are made of. HA!!!

Amy has a BA in Behavioral Science, but I don't think she learned much in that program. I think she learns more in her weekend classes of In The Kitchen With Bob on QVC and sometimes HSN. I'll take pics (and post in another forum) of our yardsale. We're getting rid of 1/4 garage worth of pans (not included in her blog). I'm thinking of doing some butt and give out sandwhiches for anyone that buys multiple "merchandise". That should be incentive to clear out the garage??? You know, setup the smokers in the front of the house.

So Bill, for next year, what are the kinds of food that people do for the Anything Butt the night before? We will try harder to get a day off/fake a death in the family, etc. to be there on time.
