The one great benefit of cooking them naked is you can crank the heat if need be without burning the bark.
 
Had a prankster convince an innocent person to cook an unseasoned brisket one time. Whew..it was bad. Guess the moral of the tale is you want this neeked Wolfman deal best stick to pushed pork. Or a person could pull their chicken I guess.
