I've made a lot of moose (and caribou) pot roasts John. It's the modifier "chuck" that makes me hesitate to answer. When Dian and I butcher an animal we only have four labels: roast, steak, backstrap, or burger. Well, there's also liver but I try to eat that in camp. When I was an active hunter we butchered all of our own meat. Now I score it from my nephews and nieces already packaged. Moose and caribou are too large for an old fart to pack out.
