Bummer when you're doing a good thing and a bad thing happens. Glad no one was injured.

Looks like the gods got to damn excited when you opened the lid to snap the pic! That meat looked incredible! Would love to see the finished product. Somehow you will be repaid for (trying to) doing such a good thing! and again good to see no injuries. db

Oh ya, and as for the loss of power:

At first I thought it was the aftermath of a really good party!

Glad to see no one got hurt. Great pics and you'll be able to share the story the rest of your life!

That's just plain amazing. As long as it drives okay, the truck is a great conversation starter. Way to stay on task.

Holly cow! Sorry about your truck but happy everyone is OK. That shot of you with your feet up relaxing then the shots of the destruction is incredible. It came so quick. Also, let me say thank you for doing what your doing for the fight against cancer. It seems we are all effected by it one way or another be it through a family member, friend or co-worker so thank you again for all your doing.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. We got all the meat to the american legion hall and plated 1030 plates. There were 16 of us and I kept the assembly line going until we ran out. The helpers actually liked the Q even though I thought it was way below par.

I didn't get any pics but they are going to e-mail me some so I'll post them up when I get them.(I was too busy!)

Again thanks!! The look on her face said it all. She was in shock. I don't know what we cleared but the "Accountant" said it cost us $1.50 per plate with all the donations we recieved so she will get a good bump in handling expenses.

The fight ain't over until the winner says it is.

Backwoods Party, Bubba Keg, Primo XL Oval, Ole Grandad, Mini BGE, Bradly Original Smoker, and a Weber kettle.
