First smoke ever.

You guys were right about the Brinkman- it's a flimsy piece of junk, but it did get the job done. Smoked for 6 hours and finished on the grill.
Very salty though- not sure if I over rubbed or oversmoked.
Is it possible to use too much wood and over smoke?
Anyway- the babybacks turned out great!

Erik, yes, you can oversmoke and over-rub ribs.

Looks good and I also agree with Greg about over smoking and over salting ribs.

That looks great for a first cook! Next time you'll try something a little different and you'll like that result, and you'll start thinking about the next time ... and you'll suddenly realize your life has changed.
