We had an Easter Island ham. It had a face.

Did this last night for Easter dinner. Smoked it with apple and then I hit it with a butter-rum glaze (thanks Larry!) every 15/20 minutes for about an hour or more. I took my rubber spatula and slid it thru each slice in the ham to load it with flavor while it cooked. "It was yum, yum"

Lew the glaze kicks a$$. Larry posted the recipe here a year or more ago. It's real easy. I'll have to go find it tho if anyone wants it. My memory is terrible!

Thanks for all of the compliments. You can all thank Larry for the recipe. It really is an outstanding glaze!

1 stick margarine
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup dark rum (I used Myers)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon

1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy sauce pan.

2. Bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.

Saved that one, thanks $ ! That ham and the pix, picture perfect. Nice job.
