11* today not counting the windchill. I decided to jump on the Arctic cook bandwagon with a couple racks of spares.
I used a rub I got from buddy BBQ Bubba over the summer at his roadside Q stand.
Bubba you guys have time release spices in that? Man I tried it out of the bag and I kept getting hit with flavor for the next half hour. Good stuff bro'! I even sprinkled some in the beans.

Have you figgered out how to clone the rub yet? Now in the famous words of my dearly deceased pal Joe Ames (who taught me how to disassemble rubs and stuff), "If you taste something and it taste good but you can't figger out why that is called MSG."

Done and back to a nice warm fire with a few "sodas". Real happy with the finished product. Great rub guys!
My new little buddy had his first taste of BBQ. Well at least before the "boss" caught me and said he was too young to have stuff like that.
He seems to enjoy hanging out in the kitchen while I'm cooking. I wonder why?

11 Deg............You Da Man. Good looking ribs.

PS: No joke, last year my 24 lb schnauzer swallowed a spare rib bone whole.......whole... I expected him to die the next day. Dogs have some powerful digestive capabilites.

Continue on......

Those are some nice looking ribs & beans you got there. I for one will be glad when this frigid air moves on.

Great Job! :D

Puff, how's the pup doing? Gnawed anything besides the rib bone yet? My son's Lab when it was a pup like to chew remote controls.

Dont give your dawgs any form of rawhead chew bones toys etc. Eldest of the male chillins had his nice Black Lab choke to death on one of the big chew bones. As my old 3rd grader teacher used to say, "A word to the wise should be sufficient."

Hope he aint one of them crazy poop eaters. We used to have a mini Schnauzer whos favorite treats come out of the cat litter box. Whew. How could anybody love a dawg with cat poo on his breath?
