Never tried the WRB on a brisket. What did you think of the flavor?
Looked real tasty ;)
 
How was the WRB on the brisket ?

What is that you got on the second shelf?

Love the flavor. First time I tried it in a comp I got a 6th place call & trophy! At the comp I rubbed the brisket with olive oil and patted on WRB. Then I wrapped in plastic for 4 hours before putting it in the smoker.

Most of the people that sampled it liked it also. They said that it didn't mask the flavor of the meat like a lot of other rubs.


I have read several post about doing this. Do you feel that wrapping in plastic is a messy task?

Can you tell a big difference vs tenting with foil?

I have not tried it so I have no opinion.
