When my divorce is over, I may have to give black bush a try.......haven't had much luck with white bush.......

Finney, if it ever quits raining I've already got the paint.

Rempe, just got it this weekend. it's old...it was once owned by
Scottie McDaniels. I bet BQ remembers that name. Unfortunately
it didn't come with an instruction manual. I signed up at the Backwoods
forum so I could ask some questions, but after 5 days they haven't activated
my account! Obviously they aren't run as well as this forum.

When did you get a BW, Jimmy? Melissa Cookston of Yazoo's Delta Q uses the for her comp team and she can control the temp by how many briquettes she adds...seems like she has it down to a science. I think you will really like the cooker...shouldn't take to long for you to master!

That and she uses a Stoker.

At least she is one of the Rock's Barbque "Luminaries". (Along with someone we all know and love)

Wow small world. I borrowed about every tip Scott McDaniel dispensed. Aint heard a peep out of him in many moons. Is he still alive and well?

Ok well why dont you be in charge of figgering out whut went with him? Sounds like a good plan to me. I plugged him to Google a few times and that name seems to be like trying to find Juan Gonzalez in Mejico City.

I call that smoker in training. We all have to learn the little issues of all our smokers. Looks like you did just fine. You will learn the times and temps as you go with the smoker. You did just fine for first shot.
