My sister wants them every Christmas eve, but then we don't do
a big meal for Christmas day...so this is cool....smoke, eat,
relax....eat leftovers.

Oh yeah.. That is a good idea,, Never a bad time for ribbers!! Merry Christmas bro. ;)

You guys gotta get to know Jim, then you'll realize that finished pic's generally come the following day AFTER the beer supply is replinished.......that is IF he even finished the cook. There are times and stories floating around about Jim turning off the Maverick in the middle of the night because he didn't want to get up or him just totally FORGETTING about the meat on the grill. In any case, if the ribs were indeed finished, they will certainly be very good!

popcorn chicken with multiple dip sauces while we wait....this
should give you an idea of how many sauces are in my fridge.

late change in plans...my neighbor made me and my sister come
over to his place to eat paella....I took the ribs and we ate over there.
No biggie....it was good for him to have some company. We would
have preferred gobbling ribs watching a movie, but we felt like
we did a good deed, and the saffron paella was excellent.
(Larry, remember 'I'd crawl a mile for a grain of that rice'?)

anyway, we've got ribs leftover. These came out excellent...used
Wolfe Rub and SBR, it's a magical combo.

didn't have time for more pics, but I'll take more pics during
lunchtime leftovers!

the paella..saffron and venison sausage

Looks great Cappy!

Reminds me of an old song:

I'm just mad about Saffron
Saffron's mad about me
I'm just mad about Saffron
She's just mad about me

They call me Mellow Yellow!
