Applewood

There are many small orchards around me. I contacted one (a one man operation) where he happens to be reducing the size of his operation. He will have 2 PU truck loads of cut up apple wood for me next month for $60 each. I have another smaller orchard near me where I'll get some trimmings for less $. I'm thinking of scouting for more.....it's that time of year to score this stuff.
Maybe wean myself off of the fireplace wood pile.

Wittdog has cherry. Gary has cherry, Rag has apple and I have pecan. I am going out this week and get a few flat rate boxes.

I'm going to start using wet cardboard boxes. Nice smoke ring and what the hell, I'm not eating it.
