What kind of fly did you catch them on? ;)

They look really good.

Hey Flytyer, They fish for big Redfish with flyrods down here in the Laguna Madre... I have never done it, but it sure looks fun...If you ever come down to Texas I can show you where to find Redfish... I love fishing too!!! .. :D

Caught the trout on a #16 Hare's ear nymph.

The chicken were caught with greenbacks.

I have plenty of Hare's ear nymphs - I can make them in my basement. Can't say the same for greenbacks!

#16.....holey smokes. I tie wet fies on 2, 4, and 6 hooks.

Looks like the fisherman in the picture had his bait up on the far creek bank. Is he trying to catch some type of land based critter perhaps? Up in Wilbarger County some of them old boys claim to catch coyotes like that. Use a deep sea rod and reel of course. A dead cottontail rabbit for the bait. Big treble hook.

haha I was about to comment the same, it has to be hard to cast in such a large ditch. hehe food looks great.

I tied some of those salt jobs 1/0 and 2/0 where you sharpen them first with a file. Then on the other end I go down to #22 for trout. I'll sell my Sage #10 fly rod and tying (salt) materials to someone for a good price.
