6 Racks BBs, 50 Thighs, 2 Beer/A$$ Chickens, Bacon & Burgers

A friend is having a party and we are too so I'm cooking all but the burgers for them. I'll fire my grill and do the burgers and dogs later.

The ole Peoria Custom Cooker got started with a Chimbly of hot Rancher coal onto a pile of fist sized Hickory chunck and some Rancher. Gonna run closer to 275+ degrees today cus it's mostly Chicken.

Why the Bacon you ask? Shame on you. BBQ Man Law #312" "You don't need to explain Bacon." lol

It's for the Baked Beans.

Let me take a couple pics before I get accused of not actually be cooking over here. lol

I'm cooking on the smaller pit today. Well, the smokeer is the same but this one doesn't have the grill like the one to the left.

2 Birds and Bacon! I use my chicken rub and Coors Light cus I don't drink that kinda pop and I'm getting ready to crack a POP. lol

Coming along nicely.
I'll get some pics in a few,

That bacon got froze and then chopped and put into doctoring up some beams.

Today is Dead Bob Day!
Everyone crack a beer and go out in yer yard and pour it on the ground and remember a Homey. Bob Killeen was my best friend and he died 5 years ago today. I was asked to and did Preach his funneral and preached the Gospel and the Hope in it and that I WILL see Bob again in Heaven. I always remember him with a smile and sometimes have a Meyers Rum and Coke in his honor. I remember and miss ya man!!!!

3 hours in. I took these pics and panned the chicken as it is mostly done. Ribs are feeling and bending well too. No FOIL here guys. The birds I am rotating for even color. This is their backs.

Are you rotating entire racks of thighs or moving them one at a time ?

If one at a time does your fire get out of control with the lid up for a long time?

The thighs and ribs I didn't rotate just spun the whole birds,
