3 lb Butt

Im doing a 3 pound pork butt. Is there any "special rule of thumb" for the smaller cuts. At 1 1/2 hours a pound this will come off at 2:00pm today.

Also when should i wrap it and for how long. Thanks for your help. db

It should cook pretty much like a 9lb butt! Pull at 190-195*, wrap in foil and let rest at least an hour, several are better.

Take it off at 195. Wrap it up in foil and put it in a cooler lined with towels. It can stay hot there for hours.
