10 Best BBQ restaurants per Bon Appetit

Not sure how much I would agree, but found the list interesting.

NEW YORK It's barbecue season, and if you don't want to get out the grill and smoke up your yard, here are 10 restaurants recommended for their barbecue by Bon Appetit magazine's July issue.
  • Stacy's Smokehouse BBQ in Phoenix at 1650 E. Indian School Road

Bulldog Barbecue in North Miami at 15400 Biscayne Blvd.

Rolling Bones BBQ in Atlanta at 377 Edgewood Ave., SE

The Joint in New Orleans at 801 Poland Ave.

Zingerman's Roadhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich., at 2501 Jackson Ave.

Fette Sau in Brooklyn, N.Y., at 354 Metropolitan Ave. in Williamsburg

Formaggio Kitchen, in Cambridge, Mass., at 244 Huron Ave.

Slows Bar BQ in Detroit at 2138 Michigan Ave.

The Pit in Raleigh, N.C., at 328 W. Davie St.

Martin's Bar-b-que Joint in Nolensville, Tenn., at 7215 Nolensville Road.

wow, I've only heard of 2 of em. Interesting that
Texas and Kansas City weren't represented...
but Bon Appetit is for food snobs like Finney.

If they put Slow's BBQ in Detroit on that list then don't put too much stock in the rest of it.

It's OK, but there isn't one thing on that menu anyone of us can't do better at home.

Might be the top 10 fancy BBQ restaurants, but I'd bet a lot it's no where near the top ten food.
East Tennessee = Almost Heaven South
Klose offset pit
Stumps Classic
Cabela gas vertical smoker
Ducane gas grill

What Bruce and Puff said. I have been to Slows three times .( A customer is right around the corner and he likes it.) It doesn't even make the top 100!!!! This list must have been designed to create controversy. Come on, two in Michigan and one in Massachuesetts??????? The Dinosaur is better than most of these!!!! Total BS!!!!!

Never trust anything with a frenchy faggy sounding name for BBQ recommendations. Fette Sau, come on you just know that's not BBQ by the name. Yuppie Q maybe definitely not BBQ.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em!
