Help Needed

A friend is asking about the differences between smoked sausage and brats. Not being a sausage lover myself, I don't really know what to tell her. Does anyone know of a website that tells the difference? I'm thinking the biggest difference would be the spices but am not sure.

Brauts are a fresh sasuage..the smoked has been cured and smoked....and not to mention the flavor proflle.
