lubricating for grinder.

I would like to know what kid of lubricating is being used for there grinder.

I think Lem products makes a spray but I couldn't find it.

Guys I understand that Lard and Crisco will lubricate but I know lard will turn rancid after awhile. I'm not sure about Crisco.

I usually lubricate the equipment before I put them away. I don't do anything to the grinder only the sausage stuffer (the cogs).

When storing your blade and grinding plates I put them in a ziplock bag with some uncooked white rice.that way they won't rust. Also you don't have to waste your time washing the oil off them when your ready to use them.
