Did some hickory and plain flavor on the 008 Cookshack Smokette. It's pretty easy and the results are fabulous. Used the HiMountain jerky kit, cure and flavorings. We followed the "QDogg Method" technique as described by MainelyDave.
A1Sooner cautioned me about sending out too many samples. "Everyone will want you to send big batches weekly." As ususl, he was right. Everyone loves it and in fact I may have generated enough interest with one neighbor so as to have him looking into a 008/009 himself.
Which reminds me, I gotta get out there and click on that pool heater. Temps down in the 60's today. 8)
