I am in the process of making about 15 lbs. or so of boudin. How many feet of casing do I need to flush and soak in vinegar? The casing size is 38 to 42 mm.

I sure wish I would have measured it before my last batch. I made 5 pounds and it seams like I used about 4 strands of casing out of the pack I bought and had plenty left over. Each strand/section was about 2.5 to 3 feet long.

The rest is in the fridge in vinegar waiting on another spur of the moment. I got the pack at the local grocery so I can't compare it to the pack you bought.

Hang loose, someone will chime in.
