yep watern and toshiba laptops DO NOT MIX

Got a new one, within 1 month i bet 2-3 TBL of water hit the keyboard, and POOF it died a slow agonizing DEATH. the really sad thing is I am in a Long term rehab facility so my mom picked it up for me she put it on her amex and transferred the money to her I did buy the (i am a dumb ass) warranty coverage for 3 yrs everything spills drops, batteries etc.
But one more obstacle stood in our path back to then Toshiba road to the internet.
Two days later my mom passed away in her sleep.
I am dealing with it we were very close not an hour goes by I dont think about her.
Anyway the laptop the receipt was nowhere to be found. I told Office Depot I had it narrowed down to a few days. They needed more info and me being basically immobile there was just too much goin on. (que super hero music) OFFICE DEPOT MAN.
well you talk about super customer service Adrian the OD guy remembered her and said he would take care of it without having to send it in to toshiba.
So not only did he get all 40 gig of data off the dead one.Put it all on 2 flash drives which he did not charge me for lol. PLUS they were out of the same laptop. So he went to the next one up the diff was the processor old one was the Intel I5 the new one the intel I7 and ram speed was a wee bit faster.
Ok now that In have bored yall to death
I appreciate yall lettin me ramble talk to yall soon\\

David

Deepest condolences on your Mom. Glad to hear Office Depot has good customer service. I am used to dealing with the scum bag thieves who inhabit Best Buy. Must be a welcome relief for you to be back in bizness. What ailment is causing the stay in the rehab place?
