Well, shoot, I guess I should...

So maybe I'll quit lurking around here. My Dad keeps sending me emails with URLs to threads on this site. They're all pretty good, too.

I gotta tell you, though, it's sort of weird to visit a site where your Dad is the moderator. I guess that means I have to behave or he'll ban me?

Oh, right. The introduction! Let's see...I own a WSM and a Weber Platinum (which, I hear they don't make anymore). Yep, we're an "all charcoal" house! Oh, I should thank my Dad--I've received both Webers as gifts from him.

Other things I do--well, I try and keep my wife's dog (an English Mastiff) from slobbering all over the house while MY dog (a lab) and I spend as much time pheasant and duck hunting as we can. Soon, though, spring turkey is coming and then it's fishing time! So, yeah, I guess those are what else I do for fun--find things to kill to put on the grill.

Location? I live in Oregon, on a small spot of land outside of Corvallis.

I look forward to continuing to read the posts here and might, eventually, add something more than my Old Man...but he's got big shoes....
