THERE'S A NEW CHEF IN TOWN

Hi everyone,
Wittdog told me about this place so I thought I'd check it out.
I'm from Stamford, Connecticut and I'm an ex heavy equipment operator turned restuarant chef after culinary school.
I been sick lately after being bitten by that BBQ bug....and it wasn't your ordinary BBQ bug....Nooo, it was that one that has smoke coming off it's tail after it bites ya.
Yah you know the one, the one that makes you want to BBQ and smoke meats 24/7.
Yup.....that one!

Equipment

I make my own BBQs for fun not to a living and don't tell my wife But I'm knockin down the one I built two months ago (all brick) ...need a big more up to date model
Built two smokers, both were out of retail soda refrigerators you find in stores, shoot, throw a coat of black stove paint on them things and you'd think you had one of top of line acme smokers and they work great!
Only...don't tell my wife....I'm knockin it down in a few little while, right after I smoke my next batch of sausage and kielbasi.
Gonna build a 4 ft x 6 ft x 6 ft high wood shack ...I send pics as I moving along. There's a lot planned for this model
As far as food porn.....sure wish I could whip something up....but if you check the weather map, it's only about 20 degree up here and with the wind...burrrr!
Sure wish I BBQ or Smoke right now..(lookin out my window at grill and smoker)

Welcome to the forum Northsmoke!...

The cold weather excuse just don't cut it here with us...LOL

We all are crazy here...just look at our posts... we all been cooking, grillin', smokin' etc... in these single digit and b elow zero temps...

If ya gots the true "BBQ BUG BITE"... a little cold only slows ya some, but surely won't stop ya.

I'm thinking of making some patches for all of us to wear at cooks...

"THE FROZEN FEW"

I forget who recently used/coined that phrase... but it surely fits!

again...welcome aboard!

food porn rules!!!!!
