Southern Arizona here

Greetings fun seekers!

I've found this to be my favorite BBQ forum. Lots of good info here.

I don't have much for pics, but here's last nights dinner from the Weber:

Jammed some butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, basil and oregano up under the skin. Cooked indirect.

Re: Southern Arizona here

Thanks everyone!

I'm in Tucson where summer has arrived and treated us to 100+ already. The good part is I can run the WSM on 10 coals and maintain temp for 6 hours. (not really)

Re: Southern Arizona here

Hello and welcome. I think chicken might be my favorite food group. Well, right after beefy beef ribs anyway. I know what you mean about the heat. During the day, when the sun is shining on my black Stump's Tailgaer, I can get 6 hours from 5-1/2 Stubb's briquettes.

Re: Southern Arizona here

Welcome slacker,
You say your from Tucson, that is where I am getting ready to move back to. I used to live up on E houghton rd. about 3 blocks north of tanque verde, I just bought a new house, over by in the 22nd st. area, above houghton. I lived in Tucson for 10 years, a while back, and am finally getting back to the valley of the sun.
